Get in Touch with Companies
For young people, professions and the associated activities are often abstract. Therefore, real examples and contact with "real" companies are fundamental.
In the region of St. Pölten/Lower Austria/Vienna (A), young people can look at several companies at the "BeSt³ digital" fair. This opportunity is also offered by the "Bildungsmeile Amstetten-Scheibbs" and the "DUO**STARS SUMMERschool" format, which give young people real insights into companies.
The region of Vorarlberg (A) organizes the "Apprenticeship fair Montafon” and the "i-Messe - the Vorarlberg vocational training fair", which act as an interface between companies and young people. The Region has also set up an apprenticeship homepage, where young people can have a look at the companies. Young people can also get to know several companies through their apprentices as part of the "Vorarlberg Apprenticeship Ambassadors".
In the region of Valais (CH), several formats are offered, where young people can have a look at different companies, including the "Berufsschaufenster Upper Valais" and the "Your Challenge - Career and Education Fair". Young people also meet companies at the "Infopass Valais". The orientation platform "Miini Brüefswahl" offers a separate section where young people can look at different companies.
In the region of Rosenheim/Bavaria (D), several initiatives are organized in which young people can get to know a variety of companies. These include the "Azubi-Speed-Dating", the "Apprenticeship ambassadors - Combined degree" and the "Ausbildungs-Scouts". In addition, the Region offers the "meineZukunft! - The job and career fair”. The project "AusbildungsOffensive-Bayern" shows specific companies of the metal and electrical industry.
The Munich Chamber of Skilled Crafts (D) organises the "Meet your job - training fair" and the "Berufsbilderabend der Maria-Ward-Mädchenrealschule Traunstein", where young people have the chance to get to know different companies.
In the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (F), the job fair "mondial des métiers" and the project "Craftsmanship makes its cinema" offer direct contact opportunities with companies.
In the region of South Tyrol (I), the " Infofair Bressanone" and the "Futurum – South Tyrols education fair" are seen as a link between companies and young people.
The region of Trento (I) tries to provide an environment where young people can get to know several companies through their job fair.
The region of Slovenia (SL) offers the formats "Crafts path" and "Craft Street", which make it possible to get to know many companies.

Apprentice-Speed-Dating
Apprentice-Speed-Dating serves both training companies and pupils looking for an apprenticeship to gain a first impression of each other in a short time and to make contacts. Apprentice-Speed-Dating is similar to Partner-Speed-Dating.
Apprenticeship ambassadors “Combined degree”
Apprenticeship ambassadors are students in a combined degree programme who are completing a suitable apprenticeship profession parallel to their studies.

An orientation activity, implemented by some schools or networks of schools in Trentino, is the job fair. Generally, to organize this type of initiative, students' parents are contacted, who are willing to answer students’ questions regarding their jobs.
BeST³ digital - The Vienna Job, Training and Education Fair
BeSt³-fair in Vienna is Austria's largest education fair. It focuses on jobs, studies, trainings and further education. Around 350 exhibitors (NDU is one of them) present their varied offers and answer the questions of the visitors.

The i-Messe is the largest event in Vorarlberg in the field of career guidance and takes place every two years for three days in the fall.

Futurum – South Tyrols education fair
